Welcome to

St. Peter Lutheran Church

The Bible tells us that when the Lord Jesus visited the home of His friends Mary and Martha, He commended Mary because she had found "The one thing needful." That one thing was to know Him and to listen to His Word.

There are many reasons a person might come to Church...as a place to be active in helping your community, as a moral environment for your children, as a place to meet friends.

While all of these (and more) may happen at Church, at St. Peter we believe that God has put us here to be a place to hear His Word as Mary did, and a place to be baptized into Christ and to receive His Body and Blood in Communion.

In Short, we believe our Church is here to be a place to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3) and to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6), knowing that whatever other things we need will be ours as well as God works among us.

If you are looking for what Mary was looking for, we invite you to come by and see what we are about for yourself. Thanks so much for looking at our website, and may the Good Lord keep you always in His care!
